David Bowie has just released the official video for his The Next Day single “I’d Rather Be High” — the very same harpsichord-enhanced crooner that recently accompanied the Louis Vuitton ad/short film, L’Invitation Au VoyageIn this version, however, we get a very different period piece — black and white footage replaces the colorful frills of the first, and images of people dancing during wartime rule the day.
