Watch Dan Bodan’s NSFW ‘Aaron (Renaissance Man Remix)’ Video

Dan Bodan 'Aaron (Renaissance Man Remix)' Video NSFW

DFA man Dan Bodan has earned a rep for combining off-kilter love songs with left-field dance beats. We experienced the Canadian-raised, Berlin-based artist’s approach earlier this year with the song “Anonymous,” which eventually spawned an idyllic, sea-splashed video. Now his other 2013 single “Aaron” get a visual of its own, but this one is far more discomfiting. Thanks to Renaissance Man’s remixing touch, the music itself is jittery and unsettled, finding Bodan unconvincingly cooing, “Aaron don’t you see? / I think we’re growing up.” Meanwhile, the clip (co-directed by the artist and Julia Hale Burmingham) flits between scenes of Bodan’s glistening face and bedroom eyes, a nude male indoors, and a nude woman outdoors. Watch above, and download the “Aaron” revision below.
