One of the perks of being on a major label? Major network television exposure. Cults made their Tonight Show debut on November 12, in support of their sophomore album, Static, which is out now through Columbia Records. Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion — with the help of assorted back-up players, plus staticky TV sets — ventured through “High Road,” a probing swooner from their new LP. To see the SPIN interview subjects perform on NBC’s historic late-night stage (and exchange pleasantries with fellow guests Matt Lauer and Carrot Top), hit the play button above. Also, be sure to watch Cults tour New Orleans with SPIN and perform “Were Before” at our Soundwave Tent as part of Voodoo Music + Arts Experience 2013.
