lady gaga, artpop, stream

Surprise! We’ve rounded up a second-helping of album streams for your listening pleasure. Scroll down to hear new records by Lady Gaga, Roc Marciano, Caspian, and many more.

1) Lady Gaga, ARTPOP. “Lady Gaga’s long-awaited ARTPOP is now streaming in full on iTunes Radio. Gaga has already shared a handful of songs from the 15-track album, including ‘Applause,’ ‘Venus,’ the R. Kelly-featuring ‘Do What U Want,’ ‘Aura,’ and ‘Dope.’ Now fans who didn’t cop the LP from file-sharing services can hear the whole record by upgrading to the latest version of iTunes.” — SPIN (via iTunes Radio)

2) Roc Marciano, The Pimpire Strikes Back. “Marci gives us 16 free tracks over some soul sample heavy production from Alchemist, Evidence, Lord Finesse, Madlib, Arch Druids and Roc himself. Willie The Kid, Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren & Knowledge The Pirate all contribute bars.” (via Nah Right)

3) Tough Age, Tough Age. “Tough Age’s forté is scuzz-pop, another term for the sort of chunky garage-punk that comes coated in swathes of sugary hooks. Produced by Mint Records labelmate Jay Arner, the foursome’s upcoming debut LP features lovestruck doo-wop (‘The Heart of Juliet Jones’), noodling guitar-jangle (‘Seahorse’), and nihilistic navel-gazing (‘I Waste Too Much Time on Myself’).” (via SPIN)

4) Caspian, Hymn for the Greatest Generation EP. “Caspian lost a band member earlier this year with the sudden and tragic passing of bassist Chris Friedrich, but the post-rock outfit are pressing on with a new tour and EP, Hymn for the Greatest Generation. The upcoming effort features three new impeccably crafted songs (the title track, ‘The Heart That Fed,’ and ‘CMF’), a demo version of 2012 gem, and remixes of two other highlights from last year’s Waking Season.” (via SPIN)

5) Yo Gotti, I Am. “Yo Gotti has built a small empire operating independently out of Memphis so when the man born Mario Mims teams with a major label, it only follows that the product is going to be major in and of itself. Indeed, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more aptly named outfit than Epic to release I Am. The hyphy-flavored ‘Act Right,’ featuring Jeezy and YG, dovetails perfectly with the trap-dwelling, highly quotable ‘ION Want It.’ T.I. joins for the club anthem ‘King Shit,’ and Rich Homie arrives for the emotional ‘I Know.'” (via SPIN)

6) Vaadat Charigim, The World Is Well Lost. “It’s handy enough to think of Vadaat Charigim as the ‘Israeli shoegaze band,’ but that’s also unfairly reductive. Sure, there are bendy guitars and walls of fuzz — just listen to their debut album The World Is Well Lost below — but you’ll also find the springy sound of Slumberland Records, and the vocal swoon of Morrissey mixed up with the punk-punk’ed hum of Ian Curtis.” (via SPIN)

7) MondreM.A.N., They Say I Struggle Rap. “At age 22, MondreM.A.N.’s career has already made an impact. Alongside Squadda B, he’s spent the past four years establishing a presence in the hip-hop game with Main Attrakionz, the Oakland-based duo who’ve filled the internet with purple-juiced mixtape after mixtape, embracing West Coast swag in their rhymes and lyricism. Now, Mondre’s here to branch out on his own.” (via Noisey)

8) Omarion, Care Package 2. “Here’s Omarion’s new mixtape, Care Package 2, which follows up last year’s Care Package EP. Omarion’s been releasing R&B since the turn of the millennium, but Care Package had a strong finger on-the-pulse, melding Omarion’s sleek classicism with Miguel’s noodling flourishes and Jeremih’s restrained raunchiness. CP2 features appearances from Nipsey Hussle, Casey Veggies and Audio Push, and features excellent single ‘Love and Other Drugs,’ a musing on love’s intoxicating effect.” — Fader (via DatPiff)

9) CREEP, echoes. “Over the past three years, Brooklyn production duo CREEP have delivered haunting remixes of songs by Memory Tapes, She Wants Revenge, and School of Seven Bells. But DJs Lauren Dillard and Lauren Flax are finally ready to issue their full-length debut album: the two Laurens will soon release echoes, a 10-track LP as alluring, clear, and striking as a beam of moonlight reflected off of a dark body of water.” — SPIN (via Pitchfork)

10) Various Artists, Dorner vs. Tookie.Dorner vs. Tookie comes as a free download and limited-edition cassette tape, and features contributions from Nocando, Busdriver, Milo, Verbs, Rheteric, Taurus Scott, the Kleenerz, and Flash Bang Grenada.” — SPIN (via Hellfyre Club’s Bandcamp)
