Members of now-defunct bands Voxtrot and Agent Ribbons have teamed up to form Tele Novella, a psych-pop unit that carefully coats its ’60s-style harmonies in layers of fuzz. The indie supergroup is planning to release a full-length album some time in 2014, but first comes a 7-inch vinyl led by the traipsing track “Don’t Be a Stranger.” To promote the upcoming disc, due out November 5, Tele Novella have shared an official music video for the single. Filmed in the outfit’s hometown of Austin, the clip finds Tele Novella decked out in Halloween costumes, playfully terrorizing local, uh, haunts. Watch it above, and scroll down for tour dates.
