Watch the World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die’s Surprisingly Subtle ‘Low Light Assembly’ Video

The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die

Okay, so, Connecticut’s The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die don’t have the most subtle name, but the emo-leaning eight-piece is capable of understatement. The verbose and hyper-sensitive outfit have just shared a quietly dignified music video for “Low Light Assembly,” a piano-led, post-rock-straddling standout from their debut album, the recently Whenever, If Ever. Directed by Alex Henery, the three-minute clip catches the band on a bright summer day, swimming in a lake. No theatrics, or ambitious visual effects, or carefully selected outfits — just a group of friends jumping from a rocky ledge into deep green water, basking in the sunlight and realizing the world is a beautiful place. Watch it above.
