Purling Hiss toured the cosmos earlier this year in their video for “Mercury Retrograde,” but the Philly power-trio stick to the open roads of Earth in their latest clip. To support “Mary Bumble Bee,” a crispy highlight off of the Drag City signees’ Water on Mars debut LP, frontman Mike Polizze and cohorts have shared a restless tour diary. The three-minute piece never stops moving: Planes soar over tree lines, fireworks explode (in real-time and reverse), we’re put in the passenger seat of a sped-up drive, and kaleidoscope effects fold band members in on themselves.
