Hear Nine Inch Nails’ Four-Song, Crowd-Roiling ‘Live 2013’ EP

Nine Inch Nails, live 2013 ep, stream, spotify, lollapalooza 2013, fuji rocks festival, nin, trent reznor

Nine Inch Nails previewed their Essential new album Hesitation Marks with galvanizing festival sets, and now they’ve compiled four standout tracks for a Spotify exclusive EP (via Pitchfork). The Live 2013 EP begins with the very first song of NIN’s very first 2013 date, “Copy of A” from Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, and the chanting crowd’s fevered energy is easy to catch. The other tracks are all from the band’s previously streaming, staggering Lollapalooza 2013 set: “Came Back Haunted” and “Find My Way” are both from the new album, while “Sanctified” dates to 1989’s classic Pretty Hate Machine. Again, the impassioned audience combines with what sounds like a high-quality live recording should be plenty whet appetites for NIN’s full North American arena tour, which starts September 28 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
