Gucci Mane Apologizes for Twitter Rant, Seeks Rehab

Gucci Mane Apology Rehab Lean Addiction Twigger Migos Mama

It’s been a year of ups and downs for Gucci Mane. The Atlanta MC born Radric Davis dropped his Trap House 3 album, had a guest spot in Spring Breakers, rapped alongside 2 Chainz, and even got “Darker” with Chief Keef. On the other hand, he stood accused of assaulting a soldier in a club, went on one of the most epic and tragic Twitter rants in history, and then wound up getting arrested for carrying drugs and a gun. But Guwop is addressing all of this now.

Ater taking a week and a half off from Twitter, Mr. Mane returned to use the social networking tool for good this time. He apologized to his fans, friends, family, and colleagues — plus Drake, Birdman, and Rick Ross personally — and admitted that he’s been addicted to promethazine cough syrup (a.k.a. lean) for a decade. He says that he is currently locked up but that he will be willingly entering a rehab program, “because I need help.”
