Big Sean Spars With Overzealous Censors on Bleep-tastic ‘Arsenio’ Set
'Hall of Fame' spitter performed "Fire" and "Beware"
After showering Kendrick Lamar with praise on Tuesday, Arsenio Hall welcomed another “Control (HOF)” MC onto his new late-night talk show: Big Sean dropped by the Arsenio Hall Show on Thursday to promote his recently released second album, Hall of Fame. Sean ran through Fame singles “Fire” and “Beware” (just as he did on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in August), delivering a pair of respectable performances. The G.O.O.D. rapper’s sets were supported by thundering live drums but slightly undercut by trigger-happy censors who were a bit too overeager with the “bleep” button: Jarring jabs of silence pepper both clips, which can be seen above and below. Scroll to the bottom to see Arsenio chat with Sean about his Kanye West affiliation.
