Temples Summon the Psychotropic Spirit of the ’60s for ‘Keep in the Dark’ Video

Temples

England’s Temples specialize in ’60s-washed psychedelia, blending anemic vocals and shaggy melodies into a wonderfully murky swirl. Now, the four-piece — composed of James Baghaw (guitar/vocals), Tom Warmsley (bass, backing vocals), Sam Toms (drums), and Adam Smith (keys) — have captured their time-traveling aesthetic on film with the video for upcoming single “Keep in the Dark.” The just-released clip trades heavily in billowing smoke, psychotropic visuals, and black turtlenecks. The video was directed by Abbie Stephens and produced by Creature of London. Find it all above.

“Keep in the Dark” is Temples’ second single for Fat Possum, following last month’s “Shelter Song”/”Colours to Life” 7-inch. Stay tuned for details on the outfit’s inevitable full-length debut, due out early next year.
