U.K. producer Lil Silva furthers a downtempo approach on forthcoming EP The Distance. After recently releasing the relatively minimalist “No Doubt,” featuring Rosie Gray, Silva drops “Salient Sarah,” a cut that features early Jessie Ware collaborator, Sampha. The latter shows off his impressive vocal range whilst pining for a paramour during Silva’s echo-happy musical interludes. “Salient Sarah” marks the pair’s second collaboration following 2011’s heavier “On Your Own.”
The Distance is out August 5, and Sampha — who’s set to collaborate with Solange — just released an excellent EP of his own, The Dual.
