Gucci Mane and Chief Keef have become intertwined in 2013, with Keef mimicking Gucci’s classic tracks both explicitly and implicitly and Gucci taking Keef under his wing as his Brick Squad empire continues to splinter. But their partnership was cemented with the collaboration “Darker,” which dropped as a one-off in May and now has a rather standard video featuring ATVs and scantily clad women. The video is part of a big week for Gucci, who just released three new mixtapes via iTunes: Molly, Gas, and Lean, with all three coming under the tag World War 3 — a fitting title consdering Gucci made the Twitter declaration that Young Jeezy, T.I. and Yo Gotti are his “Top 3 Pussy ass rappers.”
Gucci and Keef also team up on “So Much Money” from the Molly edition of the tapes, which also feature appearances from Migos, who we profiled in July. What a summer for Atlanta rap.
