Hyetal Takes a Trippy Cartoon Ride in Surreal ‘Jam the Network’ Video

When speaking to SPIN last month, U.K. producer Hyetal (a.k.a. David Corney) admitted, “At a very basic level, so much of my life is based around sitting in front of a computer and investing a lot emotionally in it.” Corney’s dedication to all things digital has yielded the June release of his second album, Modern Worship, and the just-unveiled music video for blippy pulser “Jam the Network.” Directed by Los Angeles visual collective The Great Nordic Sword Fights, the trippy, technicolored clip plays like a hidden level from a long (long) lost video game. Think Salvador Dalí with PC access. Watch “Jam the Network” above and find Modern Worship on iTunes.
