Last month Atoms for Peace blessed Los Angeles with a secret-ish show at Club Amok — the temporary name they’d given the intimate Fais Do Do in honor of their debut album Amok. We were able to experience some of that special warm-up gig thanks to fan footage (in which Thom Yorke aligned himself with Mr. T’s stance on jibber-jabber) but now the band have shared their own footage. Above you’ll find “Default” — all crawling bass and tribal grooves helped along by a Yorke ad lib about “a queen in a fucking dream.” And below is “Dropped,” a more hyperactive track featuring lively instrumentation and, from 3:34 on, some of the greatest spazz-dancing this man has ever committed to camera. Flea, for his part, does that thing where he makes his head move like a bouncy ball across the screen of a karaoke program. Atoms have added Nashville a date to their busy touring schedule.
