Regardless of what happens with A$AP Ferg’s career — or, hell, the rest of his life — he can always say this: He got Snoop from The Wire and dancehall legend Shabba Ranks in the same room. In a mansion. That is the climax of the video for the Harlem rapper’s new single “Shabba,” which is set in a grand castle and features the entire A$AP Mob doing what they tend to do (party in a facet that is most similar to moshing). There are also scenes of Ferg and A$AP Rocky — who is featured on the track — mugging in a parked convertible in a fashion bordering on adorable.
The track is the latest off Ferg’s upcoming album Trap Lord, which is out Aug. 20. Rocky, meanwhile, will spend the summer out on tour with Wiz Khalifa.
