Dance-pop purveyor Annie returns on August 5 with The A&R EP, her long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s Don’t Stop. The Norwegian singer shared the short-player’s opening track, “Back Together,” earlier this month, and now she’s dropped an official video for the glistening groove. As seen above, the colorful clip pays homage to the music video countdown shows of yore (R.I.P. TRL). A few fictional artists round out the top five, but “Back Together” claims the top spot — cue the retro, on-the-cheap background effects and extreme close-up on our hitmaking heroine.
