Poor Decision-Makers Rick Ross, Wale, and Lupe Fiasco Rap About ‘Poor Decisions’

Wale Rick Ross Lupe Fiasco 'Poor Decisions' Stream MMG

The rapping gentlemen amassed for the new Maybach Music Group single “Poor Decisions” should each know a thing or two about that song’s titular subject.

Rick Ross likely lost a few million dollars in future income after rhyming about rape on “U.O.E.N.O.” On the other hand, Wale recently got into it with a basketball announcer who foolishly chose to insult the D.C.-based MC. And Lupe Fiasco has sat at both sides of that unfortunate table: first mansplaining his way through “Bitch Bad” in an ill-conceived bid for social-consciousness cred, and then getting booked for an inauguration party despite having openly criticized President Obama in the past.

Not that any of those topics are touched upon in “Poor Decisions,” but the soul-drenched Jake Uno production supports a whole lot of positive vibes from this somewhat unlikely trio. MMG’s Self Made Vol. 3 is expected to drop on August 6. Vibe officially premiered the song today after a music video was leaked and subsequently taken down. On Monday, June 3, Ross shared his Jadakiss collaboration “Oil Money Gang” hailing from the same set and featuring a J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League beat. Stream both tracks below.
