The-Dream has released yet another very NSFW video in order to promote his very good new album IV Play. The latest song to get the softcore porn treatment is “Turnt” featuring Beyoncé and 2 Chainz, who must have been busy the day the above clip was shot. It’s a good thing they weren’t on hand — there was clearly a shortage of clothing on set at the time, and nearly every item in the wardrobe seems to malfunction at one point or another.
This latest clip arrives following similarly blue videos for “Pussy” featuring Pusha T and Big Sean and “High Art” featuring Jay-Z. But rather than ask his famous friends to guest in his videos, Terius Nash seems to exclusively cast young women with a predisposition to being mostly nude and slathered with oil. At this point, it very much seems that The-Dream is gearing up to launch his very own Tyga-like pornography venture.
This from the same man who, while speaking about parenthood in a recent interview said, “I try to make sure that I can provide a better way and provide more choices and options for my children. Life is, from generation to generation, building on choices.” Did we mention that he has a daughter? Perhaps she can one day choose to inherit his G-string-saddled empire. It worked for Paul Raymond, right?
In related news, The-Dream has confirmed to VH1 that his “Turnt” collaborator Beyoncé is “definitely ratchet.” For the record, that term doesn’t exactly connote respect when applied to a mother.
