Watch Black Sabbath Reign Over NYC in ‘God is Dead?’ Video

Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne 13 God is Dead Video

Tomorrow (June 11) Black Sabbath release their Rick Rubin-produced new album 13, the band’s first with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978’s Never Say Die!, to the excitement of rock diehards and metalheads everywhere. In anticipation of that banner day, the masters of reality have shared the video for their almost nine-minute epic “God Is Dead?” The cheap-looking modern dystopian clip features bloodied news footage set in New York City’s Times Square. The message is pretty simple: Unless people stand up to authority, we’re all doomed. Also, Sabbath is king. And God is dead, probably.

By now, followers of the Prince of Darkness and his axe-slinging knights have already heard this track as well as “End of the Beginning”, “Loner”, and deluxe edition bonus track “Methademic”streamed the full-length 13 on iTunes, and bought tickets for the band’s upcoming tour. Plenty to tide ’em over till tomorrow’s drop-date.
