Watch !!! Dance to Trippy Screensaver in ‘One Girl/One Boy’ Video

chk chk chk, !!!, one girl/one boy

When !!! shared “One Girl/One Boy,” a funktastic cut off the Brooklyn band’s Thr!!!er, SPIN’s Marc Hogan noted that the track features vocals from Sonia Moore, the singer who supplied the “hey hey” on MC Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit.” Moore co-stars in the song’s music video, but she’s the only holdover from Hammer’s heyday — no double-breasted suits or parachute pants to be found here. In fact, !!! frontman Nic Offer boogies down in his best pair of short-shorts (which look a lot like the cover to the Rolling Stones’ Some Girls), while psychedelic floral patterns blossom in the background, thanks to some #seapunk screensaver effects.

Moore won’t join !!! on their upcoming North American tour, but since someone has to sing backup, the group has announced a contest that will award fans with a live, onstage cameo during “One Girl/One Boy.”

Instructions come via a note from !!!: Upload a youtube video of you singing along or send an mp3 to [email protected]. No big deal, just you in front of the mirror singing into the hairbrush style will do. We’ll sift through the entries and holler at you if you’ve got what it takes. You’ll of course be judged on your vocal ability, but dance moves and star quality definitely help. If anything, it’s a free ticket for you and your bff for the show. No flakes, no egos, no drug problems. Download instrumental music and lyrics: https://bit.ly/13vVDyQ
