Grizzly Bear’s ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror Will Be Gone Till November

Grizzly Bear’s upcoming All Tomorrow’s Parties showcase, originally scheduled for May 5 in London, has been postponed to November 2, organizers revealed today (April 12). According to ATP, the single-day event, billed as part of the British promoters’ international I’ll Be Your Mirror series, had to be pushed back because two major acts couldn’t make next month’s gig.

From ATP’s website: “The main reason for this is that two of the anticipated headliners pulled out — making this day’s event unviable at this current stage, and rather than putting on a day that isn’t worthy of our headliners and of the standard of ATP events, ATP and Grizzly Bear have decided that rather than cancelling, their show will be moved.”

Van Dyke Parks, the Walkmen, Tortoise, Real Estate, I Break Horses, and Cass McCombs were just some of the artists booked, but so far there’s no word on which had trouble fulfilling the May 5 commitment.

Tickets for the original date will be honored on November 2, but refunds are available via point of purchase. Fans can also swap their May 5 tickets for the still-happening May 4 show, which is being curated by SPIN cover stars the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. More information regarding refunds, weekend passes, and associated deadlines can be found here.

As Grizzly Bear’s website points out, revised lineup and venue information will be announced in June. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ I’ll Be Your Mirror event, still booked for May 4 at Alexandra Palace, promises sets from the YYYs, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, the officially-pardoned-by-ATP Black Lips, the Field, King Khan & the Shrines, Dirty Beaches, and many more.
