Black Sabbath Will Darken Cities Across North America

black sabbath, 13, world tour

Black Sabbath teased their North American disciples by announcing just four cross-continental tour dates last week — three in the U.S., one in Canada — but the heavy metal giants have now confirmed a 20-city trek through North America that begins on July 25 and ends on September 3.

In addition to the previously revealed gigs in New Jersey, Washington, California, and Toronto, Ontario, Sabbath will make stops in Texas, Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Indiana, Canada’s British Columbia, Arizona, and Nevada. Tickets for these newly announced shows will begin going on sale on May 3 via Live Nation or Ticketmaster. Fans hoping for early access to pre-sale offers on May 2 should click here to RSVP. VIP packages are also available here

Currently, Black Sabbath are in the midst of the Australian leg of their world tour. The Birmingham band recently played shows in New Zealand, where they debuted material from 13, the group’s first album with Ozzy Osbourne on lead vocals in 35 years. The “back-to-basics” effort will be released in the U.S. on June 11; pre-orders are now being accepted through Black Sabbath’s website.
