Lamar’s fierce appearances on Letterman and Saturday Night Live helped the Compton prince nab the title of SPIN’s Real Hottest MC in the Game (dropping our favorite hip-hop album of 2012 didn’t hurt, either), but if these thrilling, saxophone-assisted outdoor performances are any indication of what to expect from Kendrick’s packed festival schedule, the 25-year-old can bank on claiming another honorific: 2013 festival king.
