Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z Fling Fire on ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ Remix

Kendrick Lamar Jay-Z 'Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe' Remix

Last week we heard a fuzzed-up snippet of Jay-Z rapping on a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” courtesy of some live South By Southwest footage. Hova sounded fierce on the revisited good kid m.A.A.d. city standout but the true severity of his microphone slaying has now been revealed via the track’s official leak, streaming below. Here, Jay raps circles around his laid-back “Suit & Tie” persona, growling out brags like, “In the White House with a mink / Running through that bitch like it’s my house / All up in the hall like a mall.” That said, Kendrick contributes a pair of new verses that leave no question as to who’s house we’re actually visiting, aurally speaking. “Love me on the East like I was Chuck D,” he brags early on before bookending Jigga’s part with some of the most aggressive and ornate rhymes he’s recorded to date. The final line from SPIN’s Real Hottest MC in the Game? “If Shawn [Carter] is a black Beatle than I need a 10-second drum solo / Yeah, Woodstock.” Drumroll, please:
