Stream Depeche Mode’s Lusty ‘Soothe My Soul’

depeche mode, soothe my soul, delta machine

Depeche Mode might make great boning music, but the synth-rock icons opted to take things slow with “Heaven,” the gloomy lead single off the English trio’s upcoming 13th studio album, Delta Machine (out March 26 via Columbia Records). We described that song as a fake-out preview of Delta Machine, that the rest of the record was “harder and weirder,” and the LP’s second single, “South My Soul,” blends ghostly atmospherics, muted keyboard notes, and surging synths to support that claim.

Stream “Soothe My Soul,” which premiered on BBC Radio this morning, below (via Slicing Up Eyeballs), or listen to the entire BBC broadcast here.
