Watch the Bronx Party With ‘Playgirl’ Strippers in ‘Youth Wasted’ Video

The Bronx Youth Wasted Video Striptease

Blue-collar Los Angeles punks the Bronx may not be the first group of guys that come to mind upon mention of the hallowed (?) Playgirl name, but the erstwhile mariachi outfit has indeed collaborated with that purveyor of bro bods to make a music video for their latest single “Youth Wasted.” The grungy grinder hails from the band’s just-out fourth album titled The Bronx (IV) — the natural follow-up to 2008’s The Bronx (III) — and the clip features three male models stripping along to the tune. Initially the band is confined to their own clean white room, but eventually main man Matt Caughthran and co. burst into the low-lit club where all of the action is going down.

“We had a lot of fun with Steve (a.k.a. ‘The Hammer’), Jim (a.k.a. ‘Double Gunz’) and Mike (a.k.a. ‘The Meat Wagon’),” writes Bronx spokesman the Guvn’r, “and shared tips on which brand of cocoa butter shimmers the best, and smells the least – as well as what is referred to as ‘packing heat’ (to stuff, or not to stuff).” Indeed, that is quite the question. Draw your own conclusions about the answer via the Sam Macon-directed video above.
