Justin Bieber Responds to Black Keys Dis With Bigger Balls Than Nickelback Did

Justin Bieber Black Keys Beef Twitter Dis Slapped

At last we understand why that lunatic convict made plans to castrate Justin Bieber: the boy is barely legal, but he’s got some remarkable balls. First the kid was snubbed by the Grammys, and then his plans to snub the Grammys in turn fell through (via a simultaneous live stream chat that supposedly suffered technical difficulties), and then Black Keys’ Patrick Carney took a swipe at him in an interview with TMZ.

Asked for his opinion on the Biebz getting left out of Music’s Biggest Night, the drummer pretty innocuously said, “I dunno … He’s rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money … and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.” Carney should know about that sort of bliss, since his license-happy band has been busy collecting from all entities who use Black Keys sound-alike songs in their commercials.

Justin, anyway, wasn’t having it, and he hit Twitter on Tuesday to let the world know:

Has he seen Carney’s wingspan? Dude is built like a vulture with Popeye arms. It’s a gutsy response to be sure, and a great deal more antagonistic than Nickelback’s lamely confident comeback when the very same Black Key blamed that post-grunge punching bag-of-a-band of sounding the death knell for rock’n’roll. Those gruff-voiced goons thanked Carney and then giggled about it via Twitter. Justin’s army of Beliebers is legion. And he’s declared war.

But Carney hasn’t been silent since. He’s got a Twitter account, too, and he’s been sharing the over-the-top incoming assaults from online Beliebers, usually accompanied by a sadface. He also got out ahead of the pop singer’s dis, writing last night, “It’s cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV. :(” More recently, he’s got jokes:
