Watch Jack White’s Career-Spanning ‘Austin City Limits’ Set

Jack White teased us with a preview of his concert for Austin City Limits last week, but now the Third Man’s entire ACL set is available to stream online. White, decked out in a snazzy powder-blue suit, offers a sampling of songs from his extremely popular on vinyl solo debut album, Blunderbuss, along with tunes from his various side projects (the Dead Weather, the Raconteurs), and even sprinkles in a few dusted-off White Stripes tracks. For the first half of the career-spanning 50-minute gig, the Detroit native — a “rocker who definitely knows how to push all the boundaries,” according to the show’s announcer — enjoys backup from his all-male touring band, the Buzzards. After bleating through the title track from SPIN’s No. 35 album of 2012, White brings out his all-female backing band, the Peacocks, and struts into Blunderbuss lead single “Love Interruption.” To close the fun-house mirror greatest hits show, which was taped back in October when he headlined one night of 2012’s Austin City Limits Festival, White and the Peacocks promise “We’re Going to Be Friends.” Watch a 20 minute preview above (the entire performance is available here), and check out the set list below.
