Japandroids, Public Enemy, Flying Lotus, Action Bronson Join BUKU Music + Art Project

Public Enemy, Japandroids, Flying Lotus, Action Bronson, and Icona Pop have all been added to the lineup for the second annual BUKU Music + Art Project, the two-day New Orleans festival set for March 8 and 9 that merges indie rock, EDM, and hip-hop with interactive art installations and a sampling of local cuisine. They join previously announced performers Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris, Best Coast, Kid Cudi, Passion Pit, and Primus 3D.

Also on the bill: Sander van Doorn, Birdy Nam Nam, Trinidad Jame$, Dragonette, Daedelus, Ryan Hemsworth, STS9, NERO, Flux Pavilion, Zedd, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Datsik, Dillon Francis, R3hab, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Earl Sweatshirt, Alt-J, Lettuce, Flosstradamus, JMSN, Starfucker, Poolside, RAC, Aeroplane, Big Freedia, Shlohmo, St. Lucia, Hundred Waters, Break Science, Lazy Rich, Brown & Gammon, Quickiemart, Brassft Punk, Buku, Gravity A, Coyotes, Shanook, Kid Kamillion, Christoph Andersson, White Noise, Unicorn Fukr, and DJ Digital.

For the second year in a row, BUKU will be held near the French Quarter, at Mardi Gras World, one of the leading Mardi Gras float production houses. Tickets are currently on sale and range from $150 general admission passes to a $1,119 ticket and hotel room package for two. Patrons can also opt for a $350 VIP package that guarantees open bar, easy access to all stages, exclusive performances, and a spot on the S.S. BUKU, a Creole Queen Riverboat that will dock on the Mississippi River along the festival grounds all weekend.

Last year’s inaugural showcase featured Skrillex, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., Purity Ring, Sepalcure, Yelawolf, and more. Watch the second lineup announcement video up above.
