See the Antlers’ Oddly Appropriate Underwater ‘Drift Dive’ Video

The Antlers Drift Dive Video Dedicate New York Flooded

Brooklyn’s Antlers drop viewers into a surreal oceanscape in the new video for the Undersea EP standout, “Drift Dive.” The gorgeously rendered clip premiered on Pitchfork this morning, just as New York City woke to take stock of the damage done by Hurricane Sandy. Shortly after the article went live, the band posted a message on Facebook: “Considering all that’s just happened in NYC, today is a strange day to debut our new video, but it feels oddly appropriate too. James Case-Leal created this beautiful piece to accompany ‘Drift Dive.’ We hope it provides you with some comfort in the face of all this devastation. We love you, New York.” The Antlers have also been active on Twitter, too, writing “We’re still here. We hope you are okay,” and sharing photos.
