Lollapalooza Brazil Chile Pearl Jam Deadmau5

No word yet on Lollapalooza’s inaugural venture into Israel, but the lineups for the Perry Farrell-founded fest’s South American chapters have been announced. Lollapaloozas Brasil and Chile will be headlined by Pearl Jam, Deadmau5, the Black Keys, and Queens of the Stone Age, with the Killers and Planet Hemp rounding out the Brazilian event, which runs an extra day.

Other artists of note to be shared by both — deep breath — include dance dudes Kaskade, Major Lazer, Steve Aoki, Porter Robinson, and Knife Party; rock types A Perfect Circle, the Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, Hot Chip, Passion Pit, Crystal Castles, Alabama Shakes, Puscifer, Toro Y Moi, and Gary Clark, Jr.; and Nas, the only rapper on either bill.

Lollapalooza Brasil, which also features the Flaming Lips and Cake, runs March 29 to 31 at São Paulo’s Jockey Club. The full lineup and presale info are available at LollapaloozaBR.com. Lollapalooza Chile, which has Keane and Bad Brains, runs April 6 and 7 at Santiago’s Parque O’Higgins. Presale tickets are already available, along with the rest of the bill, at LollapaloozaCL.com.

Each festival will also feature musicians from its respective hosting country. Check out video from last year’s Brazilian edition below, and read our revealing 2011 interview with Farrell about Lollapalooza’s expansion when you’re done.
