See Action Bronson Flip Wig, Fight Crime in ‘The Symbol’

Action Bronson The Symbol Video

Huge understatement time: Quentin Tarantino’s aesthetic looms large in the hip-hop community. Following today’s Kill Bill-style clip from the RZA and Black Keys, “The Baddest Man Alive,” Queens rapper Action Bronson delivers “The Symbol,” a ’70s cops ‘n’ gangsters throwback that brings to mind Pulp Fiction. In the Rik Cordero-directed video, the chef-turned-MC wears a golden wig and weilds a golden pistol at whoever gets in his way. This includes an assailant who soils himself, an abusive pimp and his ho, and a gang of Black Panthers trying to play poker in peace. “The Symbol” hails from the forthcoming Alchemist-produced Rare Chandeliers mixtape. Young Lobster Bib is back, baby!
