If you thought Sleigh Bells subsisted on nothing but bubblegum, chocolate frosted cereal, and Jolt cola, you’re way off base. Like the Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, and others before them, the Reign of Terror duo will be on the Travel Channel on September 3 as the subject of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations (as Pitchfork points out). Bourdain took his cooking show to the band’s SXSW rental house in the Austin suburbs, where tequila-heavy avocado margaritas, impressive outdoor cooking skills, and even a spur-the-moment tattoo are all on the menu. Watch a two-minute preview, interspersed with performance footage and backed by the latest Sleigh Bells album’s “Born to Lose,” below.

Don’t miss SPIN’s March/April cover story, Sleigh Bells: Bringin’ on the Heartbreak.
