Hear M.I.A.’s Party-Starting ‘Bad Girls – Leo Justi Remix’

M.I.A.

Sometimes bad girls wanna talk that talk, and sometimes they just wanna have fun. The two remixes to surface so far from M.I.A.’s Bad Girls – the Remixes, due out July 3 both as a download and as a Beyoncé-approved USB necklace, brandish some of the fiercest female spitters available (Missy Elliott, Azealia Banks, Rye Rye). The remaining remix for the release, by Brazilian DJ-producer Leo Justi, does away with high-profile guest spots and gets Maya back to her sweaty polyglot-pop grind, with Bollywood-flavored samples, Moombahton’s galloping riddims, and more. Guess what? It’s done well. And we’re premiering it right here. (You can pre-order the USB necklace on M.I.A.’s site.)

Look for M.I.A.’s fourth proper album this fall on N.E.E.T./Interscope, and revisit what she had to tell SPIN about it here. And, on account of sheer awesomeness, here’s the original “Bad Girls” video again one more time.
