First! Carrie Underwood has pwned the competition and taken No. 1 for a second week on the Billboard 200, with 102,000 copies of Blown Away sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Are you seeing this, Celebrity Apprentice star Clay Aiken?

2 Through 10: No big surprises here, either — Adele (No. 2 with 102,000), Lionel Richie (No. 3 with 71,000), the Now 42 compilation (No. 4 with 65,000), Norah Jones (No. 5 with 60,000). Silversun Pickups make a fairly impressive debut at No. 6 with their sophomore effort Neck of the Woods (41,000), but failed to top their best week on the charts, which came via the 43,000-copy debut of their second album Swoon (nevermind, though; they “don’t say attention to charts and graphs and such,” so no harm, no foul). One Direction’s Up All Night came in No. 7 (40,000), Jack White’s Blunderbuss slipped one spot No. 8 (34,000), R&B singer Tank debuted at No. 9 with his fifth studio album This Is How I Feel (33,000), and country singer Luke Bryan climbed into No. 10 by selling 26,000 copies of Tailgates and Tanlines.

Momtown USA: If the top 10 looks kind of bland this week, know that (a) very few albums debuted last week, and (b) this ranking took stock of the Mother’s Day weekend. While you might’ve gone out on a limb and bought Mom a Dirty Projectors CD, most American matriarchs apparently prefer the softer, dulcet tones of an American Idol and that guy they saw on Home Shopping Network.

Still Go-tye-ing: Gotye is still dominating the No. 1 slot on the Digital Songs chart with “Somebody That I Used to Know,” but that’s not all — late last week he made history by becoming the first artist to ever top the Hot 100, Alternative, and Dance Club Songs charts. (In other words, Gotye is very, very good at getting DJs to remix him.) Billboard has an interesting, biz-centric take on how that happened; as an added bonus, because fun. doesn’t want to be left out, they just covered “Somebody,” too. Wait, didn’t they just say they didn’t like when people do that?
