Jay-Z wasn’t kidding when he said his two-day, self-curated festival, Philadelphia’s Budweiser-sponsored Made in America fest, would feature an eclectic mashup of artists. Today, co-headliners Pearl Jam (Jay is the other) spilled the beans on their Labor Day weekend plans — as well as those of other left-field acts like Passion Pit and Dirty Projectors — on their website (via Brooklyn Vegan). Either that means Eddie Vedder and Jay hit it off back in 2007 when they inducted Grandmaster Flash and R.E.M. on the same Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stage, or Hov knows exactly how much PJ fans are willing to spend to see the seminal band at a festival.

Other acts, like Drake, Santigold, Skrillex, Afrojack, Odd Future, and Miike Snow (according to Philly.com) have been reported part of the 28-artist bill. The Philadelphia Inquirer even reports that D’Angelo will perform his second announced festival gig of the summer with Hov in Philly (his first will be at Essence Festival in July). In other words, Jay-Z has proved, yet again, that he has the entire music industry on speed-dial. The full, official lineup, in any case, will drop sometime today, as was promised last week on the steps of Philly’s Art Museum during a press conference.
