We Bought a Roo: Bonnaroo ’12 Lineup Led By Radiohead, Chili Peppers, Phish, and Skrillex

Good news, Roo fans: It turns out the Bonnaroo lineup poster that leaked yesterday was actually not too far off the mark! Notable appearances this year include Radiohead, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the newly reunited Beach Boys (hopefully not in tandem with the also-playing Foster the People) and the freshy Grammy’d Skrilli Vanilli — er, we mean Skrillex. The hip-hop roster is especially strong this year (including the Roots, Black Star, Ludacris, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Das Racist, Kendrick Lamar and a bunch of frat-rap whose name we dare not speak), and no shortage of SPIN faves will be peppering the muddy expanses, including our Grammy buddy Bon Iver, tUnE-yArDs, Battles, SBTRKT, Kurt Vile, Mogwai, Kathleen Edwards, EMA, Big Freedia and — holy cow — Bad Brains! See you in the dustiest circle pit ever!

This year’s ‘Roo will take place June 7-10 in the usual home of Manchester, Tennessee. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
