Watch the Antlers Perform ‘Rolled Together’ in the Moog Sound Lab

Earlier this year, a handful of indie rockers journeyed down to Asheville, North Carolina, to participate in the annual Moogfest, which pays tribute to the electronic music pioneer and synth innovator Bob Moog. In addition to their performances, bands like Twin Shadow and Little Dragon entered the Moog Sound Labs to re-record some of their tunes using some of Moog’s instruments. SPIN has previously presented those two sessions, and today we bring the Antlers’ Sound Lab visit. In this exclusive clip, Peter Silberman and his Brooklyn crew reimagine their Burst Apart cut “Rolled Together” using odd devices like a Moogerfooger, a Voyager XL, and a 12-Stage Phaser with an Analog Delay.

Wondering where you can get your own out-of-print Minimoog Voyager Old School that Silberman plays? Check eBay, where a brand new one is selling for a shade under $2,700. (Free shipping!) For more from the Antlers’ Moog session, check out the Moog Sound Labs site, and watch for exclusive performances from Ra Ra Riot and Megafaun here at SPIN in the coming weeks.
