It’s hot beard-on-beard action as perpetually rising rapper Stalley teams with the king of Miami, Rick Ross, for his new “Lincoln Way Nights (Shop Remix)” video. This is the first real MTV gambit from the mixtape sensation since he signed to Ross’s Maybach Music imprint back in April, adding a Ross cameo to the the final track of his well-received — and SPIN-approved — mixtape Lincoln Way Nights: Intelligent Trunk Music, which dropped in February.

You would think that the lyrically divergent styles of Stalley (renowned for his tales of workingman woes) and Rick Ross (renowned for raps about cocaine, cocaine, and sometimes cocaine) wouldn’t exactly mesh, but the hirsute hustlers have clearly found a common ground in shiny cars and the speakers that rattle their interiors. Plus, it’s nice to see Ross do something other than disrupt a flight this week. Lincoln Way Nights is set to be remastered and re-released via SMC/Fontana on November 8.
