Portland, OR, folkies Blitzen Trapper have released the second song from their upcoming album, American Goldwing (out Sept. 13). Hear “Love the Way You Walk Away” below.

Set to a country-folk gallop with slide guitar and banjo, frontman Eric Earley tells the tale of a down and out guy who sleeps in a beat-up sedan down by the river and drunkenly asks the stars why he’s losing his girl. “When you find what you’re looking for, you want it less,” Earley sings. “Baby, I always thought you’d play the game, come walking on back to me in the same ol’ lane… but baby I’m on the make, in my old sport coat and my head it aches…”

Blitzen Trapper are hitting the road this fall on a joint tour with Los Angeles rockers Dawes. Check out the complete itinerary here.
