Eddie Vedder, Bon Iver Play Late Night TV
Watch both rockers perform songs from their new albums.
If you’re a music fan, Monday night was a good one to stay in and watch TV: Both Eddie Vedder and Bon Iver dropped by late-night shows to play tracks off their new albums. Check out the videos below.
Vedder visited the Late Show to play “Without You,” a tender track from his just-released second solo album Ukulele Songs. “[He] single-handedly made playing the ukulele cool,” joked host David Letterman.
Over at The Colbert Report, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon performed the ethereal and gorgeous “Calgary,” from the Wisconsin bard’s self-titled new album, out today, with an eight-piece band, including a horn section and two drummers. He also chatted with Stephen Colbert, who said about Vernon’s full given name (Justin DeYarmond Edison Vernon): “You’re the only person I know whose real name is more pretentious than their stage name.”
