For this year’s 10th anniversary of Austin City Limits, organizers have tapped more than 130 bands to play the festival, which takes place September 16-18 in Austin, TX. Coldplay, Kanye West, Arcade Fire, Stevie Wonder, My Morning Jacket, and Fleet Foxes will headline. Cee Lo, Bright Eyes, Empire of the Sun, TV on the Radio, and Iron and Wine will also perform.

Three-day general admission passes sold out prior to the line-up announcement, but VIP and travel packages are still available. Single-day passes are also on sale today via Austin City Limits’ web site.

While acts like Arcade Fire and Coldplay are mainstays for U.S. festivals, ACL, which closes out the summer season, has scored rare appearances from artists like Santigold and Stevie Wonder, both making their sole fest performances of 2011. ACL also features one of the year’s most diverse line-ups, including roots stars (Gillian Welch, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Del McCoury Band), electronic acts (James Blake, Daniel Lanois’ Black Dub), pop (Sarah Bareilles, Brandi Carlile), and hip-hop (Big Boi, Chiddy Bang).
