During the recent Voodoo Music Experience New Orleans, artists stopped by the American Express® ZYNC ZONE, to chat with SPIN about their 2010 festival experiences and much more, among them Jakob Dylan — watch our video interview, plus performance footage below!

Dylan, the former Wallflowers frontman, has many memories about New Orleans, most of them being positive. “The Wallflowers came through here, I think in the very early ’90s,” Dylan said. “Bands always look forward to coming here.”

For this go ’round in the city, Dylan’s set was pitted against Ozzy Osbourne’s during Voodoo. “I have been called the Prince of Darkness before for my preference for wearing black clothing too but, with [Ozzy] being the official Prince of Darkness, I’ll probably choose to not wear black this evening,” Dylan said.
