Nicki Minaj has trust issues.

The sassy Queens, NY, native just released the video for “Right Thru Me,” the first single off her November 23 release Pink Friday, and in it she brings her lyrics of emotional vulnerability to life in a dramatic, soap opera-like tiff with a lover. Watch below!

The clip shows Minaj confronting her man as he returns home early one morning after a night out. Smashing a wine glass on the kitchen floor, Minaj — lookin’ like Susie Homemaker in a white dress and long wavy hair — screams at her man to “stop disrespecting me,” claiming that he’s flirting with another woman. He then threatens to leave and Minaj does all she can to stop him. “You have to trust me,” he says. “I’ve done nothing wrong.”

The music drops and Minaj sings about the push, pull, and manipulations of a relationship, as images of the couple in argument flash by. “You see right through me / How do you do that shit?” she coos on the chorus, before hitting the verse and rapping, “You know when I’m laughin’ / When I’m cryin’ / It’s like you’ve got it down to a science.”
