To celebrate Tuesday’s release of her excellent third album MAYA, Sri Lankan provocateur M.I.A. hit The Late Show with David Letterman to perform the fuzz-bomb single “Born Free,” which features a sample of ’70s New York synth-punk legends Suicide. And she brought along some special guests to help: nine M.I.A. look-alikes and Suicide co-founder Martin Rev. Watch below!

With Rev producing noisy keyboard flourishes, M.I.A. shouted and danced while her nine doppelgangers mimicked her every move. After the song, when Letterman walked over for his customary handshake, he scanned their wild get-ups — tight acid-wash jeans, tube socks, big sunglasses, and Flintstones-style t-shirts — and chuckled, “Happy Halloween!”
