Yeah Yeah Yeahs members Karen O and Nick Zinner made New York City’s cultural elite swoon last night, performing an intimate set at the Museum of Modern Art’s 42nd annual Party in the Garden. Watch the two art rockers performing a heart-wrenching rendition of their breakout single, “Maps,” below.

After a warm introduction by actor Hugh Jackman, O and Zinner ripped through a set that included gems from their own discography, Karen O’s hauntingly childish score to Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are, and a new Karen O track, “Day Go By.” Jon Spencer Blues Explosion drummer Russell Simins, Canadian guitarist Imaad Wasif, and a string section rounded out the ensemble.

The singer, looking resplendent (and shoeless) in a flowing, colorful dress, with her trademark blood red lips, dedicated “Maps” to all “late spring lovers.”

Check out the entire set list and watch the video of “Maps” below (via Brooklyn Vegan).
