As exclusively reported on SPIN.com earlier this month, the Pixies will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1989 album Doolittle stateside this fall, tacking a nine-city U.S. jaunt onto their previously announced European dates.

The tour will kick off Nov. 4 at Los Angeles’ Palladium, and wrap Nov. 30 at Washington, DC’s Constitution Hall, with stops in Oakland, Seattle, Eugene, OR, Denver, Chicago, New York, and Boston.

Almost all of the band’s Doolittle shows in Europe are sold out, including a four-night stand at London’s Brixton Academy.

“We wanted to do something special for Doolittle’s 20th anniversary, and we thought his was a good opportunity to play all of the songs from that album, something we don’t normally do at a regular gig,” said frontman Frank Black.

Doolittle features several of the quartet’s best-known songs, including “Here Comes Your Man,” “Debaser,” “Monkey Gone to Heaven,” and “Hey.”

The tour also coincides somewhat with the October release of Minotaur, an exhaustive collection all of all things Pixies.
