Watch White Rabbits Perform at the SPIN Office

Brooklyn, NY, rockers White Rabbits’ recently-released sophomore effort is titled It’s Frightening — but there was nothing scary about the band’s recent mini-concert at SPIN’s downtown Manhattan offices.

True, the group performed in front of a dark backdrop, with eerie lighting, and their percussive, piano-tinged indie-rock sounded pretty moody at times. But their Tom Waits-on-coke tales of urban nightlife were downright haunting. Danceable, even. And we love their dual-drummer thump, and how their vocal harmonies add nuance to these gripping musical arrangements.

Check out our video of the band performing Frightening cut “Rudie Fails” and B-side “Foxhunting,” off of the Percussion Gun 7″ single. Then tell us what you think in the comments section.
