More than a month after its initial announcement, No Doubt have finally unveiled the dates for their first tour in over five years, toting Paramore as the opening act. And don’t worry, North America: There’s 45 chances to see them!

“We know if we see you guys we’re going to get really inspired to make music,” Gwen Stefani said in a video posted on the band’s website. Currently, the ska-punk quartet are in the studio collecting ideas for a follow-up to their 2001 smash, Rock Steady.

After both bands appear at the 2009 Bamboozle Festival May 3 in East Rutherford, NJ, the tour will kick off proper-like May 16 in Las Vegas, NV, and hit cities across the U.S. and Canada over the summer before concluding August 1 in Irvine, CA.

No Doubt and Paramore will be joined on select dates by Swedish dance rockers the Sounds, R&B up-and-comer Janelle Monae, and reggae-ska outfit Bedouin Soundclash. Tickets will go on sale March 7.
